This new setting is my front room. This is right next to the door and where Ora and Colias scene takes place. I added this area so I could have Colia greet Ora. As I mentioned, this scene was supposed to be shorter. This meaning that the only spot supposed to be in the scene was in the hallway in the kitchen. Once I started filming, I realized that the scene was too little. The scene was supposed to be more impactful then that. So, I didn't want to clip right from the scene before to Ora. This because it would be confusing as there was no lead up. I decided then that I would add this extra little bit into the film.
I have talked about the Colia and Ora scene multiple times, however, I haven't shown were it was located or to be located. The spot this scene takes place is in between my kitchen and the hallway. I wanted the setting to be in this location because it felt more real. What I mean, is when something upsetting happens like an argument or an emotional discussion, the scene becomes more intense and relatable when someone is crying on the ground. I feel like its more unique then crying on a bed or in a chair. As a result of wanting that kind of vibe I had Colia be comforted by Ora on the floor.
