Blog #5 - Tv Show Inspiration

For my final project I have many inspirations. I have done a movie inspiration for "Corpse Bride" and "The Hunger Games". For this blog I want to share a Tv show that fit in with my final project. This Tv show is "Teen wolf". Teen wolf is a drama film and shows teenagers in high school going through relationships, friendships, and personal issues. On top of those there are supernatural characters. For this inspiration I am focusing on the personal issue aspect rather than the other things I've listed.

Teen wolf is my favorite Tv show. I adore the storyline and I find comfort in it. As my project is very personalized for me, I want this to be apart of my inspiration. The character I am going to be focusing on is Stiles Stilinski. Stiles is the main characters best friend and is played by Dylan Obrein. Dylan is a very good actor and played Stiles so well. Stiles has PTSD and anxiety, in result of these he has frequent panic attack through the seasons. He worries a lot and starts thinking and focuses so much an it that he freaks out. This is going to be relevant to my characters behavior. A specific scene sticks out to me with Stiles. This being season 3 episode 13. In this season Stiles, Scott, and Allison are struggling with side effects from a previous episode. Stiles thinks he's loosing his mind, as he can't tell the difference between reality and dreaming. He screams repetitively "Wake up Stiles!".

Season 3, Episode 13 - "Anchor"

I want to have a similar scene to this one that represents Colia spiraling with repetitiveness. Saying something like "No, no, no, no" or "Stop, stop, stop". She will feel a panic attack coming and try to stop it by saying this. Similar to Stiles' "Wake up Stiles". It represents fear and panic, which I want to show Colia doing in my movie intro. It is also shown with stiles touch his head. This is common when having a panic/anxiety attack, not only touching the head but touching hands, stomach, anything. This also tying into my movie name "Breathe, Feel, Touch".
