Blog #41 - Credits

As I have talked about previously, I have a few songs in my film. This along with actors. Due to that, I will be including a credits. The credits I am using will be in the style "Expand" and with the default text font. To avoid copyright and to make sure credit is given where it is due. When my actors participated in this movie they expected that they will be given credit. To incorporate this, I am going to push back my "Opening scene" and have the credits as the opening scene. I thought this would be a nice switch up then just having the action right at the beginning.

To do this, I filmed a few shots at my moms work. These shots are pan shots. They make way for a new environment as they horizantally catch the surrounds. They show shots of Dawns office. I got multiple angles of the office to make sure it was long enough to show all my credits. It was difficult to plan a day to go up to Dawns office to film so I made sure that I got more then what I needed just incase of anything. This meaning there might be scenes and opening shots that I dont use in my film.

To smooth from the credits to the original opening scene of Noah and Ethan, I will have a dark fade with the title. This way it will fade from the shots at Dawns office to the burgulars. This making the intro to my film more appealing to those watching. To do this, I went on iMovie and looked at the transitions inbetween. I did this to see if there was a way to make the fade transition longer. There is, I then switched the fade from ".5s" to "2.0s". This to give that slow fade I described.
