Blog #25 - Technology/ Error Fix

   For my project I will be using my phone camera to film, Imovie to edit, and my computer for research. My phone is the iphone 11 and has good quality. Imovie is highly recommended for editing as well. My phone will be recording horizontally, this because it captures alot more due to the wideness. It also allows for easier editing and a more appealing watch.

   When filming I accidently shot a shot vertically. I might redo the scene or just work with what I got. This scene was through the peephole in the door. My vision was to have Colia look through the peephole to see the robbers. Then, do the eyeline match that way the viewers can see what Colia is seeing. It was a new shot that I added because I though it would smooth together the two scenes. However, like I said I filmed it the wrong way.

To fix this I could crop the video down that way it will shrink it to the rectangular shape. This allowing for it to fit with the other video clips. I was afriad it would take on a more square shape but, after cropping it in photos it seems to be rectangular. Once I edit the first scene I will know for sure whether I am including it. The editing app Imovie should help and allow them to fit together, which would fix my mistake .
