Blog #36 - Different Shots for the Bathroom Scene
This scene has alot of different clips. I explained that I did this for a reason. To make the film have a more
fast pace. For this scene inparticular I have a shot through the mirror, Colia turning on the light, and Colia opening and closing the door. To add more I have her pacing from multiple angles and her resting on the counter trying to calm down. I have multiple takes and alot of footage. I wanted to emphasize this scene to show what Colia is going through. It is very long for the sole reason. So the audience can see Colia.

This scene was originally supposed to follow the scene from Teen Wolf with Dylan Obrein. I described this scene in one of my earlier blogs. The scene was of the character Stiles Stiniski. In the show Teen Wolf, he has PTSD and bad anxiety. Dylan Obrein played him so well that I wanted use that inspiration in my film. To do so, I incorporated Colia saying "Breathe". In the later clips of this Bathroom scene is when Colia says "Breathe" . Now, it is not as stressful and chaotic as Dylan Obriens scene. However, that is the inspiration I was using. To show Colia talking to herself in order to calm herself like Stiles did when he was trying to break through to himself. Along with them both having their hands on their heads.
