Blog #30 - Editing Week 2 Filming

Until next week when I film a bit more I can only edit the bedtime scene into my movie. This because I need the scene of Colia turning to Ora before I can put in the pre-therapy scene. For right now, I added another song overlay into my movie. I mentioned before that I want Morgan Wallen in my film. I am not a country girl but Morgan Wallen is one of my favorite singers. I find comfort in his music. For that reason I looked up instrumentals from his songs. I came across "Wasted On You" , "Somebody's Problem" , "Dying Man", "Sand In My Boots" and a few others. 

For my film I wanted something more slow paced. This to match the scene of Colia finding help and being at a low place. "Wasted On You" and "Dying Man" are too upbeat. So I was going to do "Somebodys Problem" because its a slower sweet song. However, it was more fast paced then I had imagined. So, I chose "Sand In My Boots". This song is very slow paced and not too much. It fits good for my film to have as background music rather than silence. This song is faded into the scene of Colia trying to sleep from the opening scene. Olivia Rodrigos song fades out and then Morgan Wallens song fades in. 

For all three of the songs I have the volume around 40. This way its more quiet and it leaves the originally sound from the videos still able to be heard.
