Blog #23 - My Film So Far

 For this film I will be recording on my phone. I have an Iphone 11 and it has pretty good quality. This will allow for a nice footage and ability to edit my scenes. I added a few extra angles that I didn't describe. While we were filming I came up with some more visions. I added dialouge to ethan and noah and I added more shots into the opening scene. For noah and ethan they were originally supposed to just be laughing and trying to break in. When we were filming it just seemed very short. To make the experience longer and more scary to Colia, i added them speaking. Noah taps Ethan and tells him that there is a camera recording them. 

My friend suggested that I should pull film from the ring doorbell camera to show them through it. That idea was cool so I was going to and then it wasn't recorded on there. I dont know why but for some reason it wasn't in the camera history. Due to that I could not interpret it. However, what I do have in this opening scene is natural lighting, two-shot camera angle, mid-shot, long-shot, close-up, eyeline match, dialouge, music through Colias headphones (diagetic sound), and a few more. Once I go back and edit these together I will add a sound over the scene of Colia of the knocking. This to show that she heard a noise and thats why she took her headphone out.

The mise-en-scene in my film is really coming togther too. The setting is the bedroom, front room, and outisde my front door. The lighting fits the scenario, the silence shows that Colia is home alone, the outfits on the characters fit their descriptions and situations very well, and overall feels like the event I was describing.
