Blog #20 - Costuming

I have described previously how Colia will dress. In this I will describe that into more detail and describe what my other actors will wear. Costuming is very important when getting a scene perfect. The actors need to wear what they are doing to make it seem more real. My actors include Colia, Ora, Ms. Robinson, and the robbers. Shopping will most likely be involved just to make sure their outfits fit. 

For Colia, she will wear a bagging pajama like style. Expect for before the event, she will wear a regular outfit, jewelry, and give off a more colorful vibe. Once the opening scene is over, she will only wear the style described. She will wear pajama pants or shorts. This matching with either a jacket, oversized sweatshirt, and long sleeve. She will wear darker colors. This to show that the scenes are darker. The film will not be that bright, that way it fits into the genre and shows the emotion properly. Colia wont wear any makeup to show that she doesn't have the motivation to put it on. Her hair will be up and she wont be wering jewelry.

Colias therapist played by Dawn, will wear her regular clothes. Since my mom is a therapist, she doesn't need to do any unnecessary shopping. She owns plenty of outifts that show she is a therapist. She wears covers over her shirts that are typically flowing. They usually have some kind of flower on it. Her pants usually dont reach her ankles, they end around the calf area. Then, high heels or decorative flats. This followed by a claw clip or contained hair. Ms. Robinson will also wear bracelets, necklaces, and/or rings. To finish off the costume, some makeup will be added. 

Ora will were her regular style. This being what Olivia wears in real life. That being a more cropped tight fitted shirt, baggy black jeans, jewelry, little bit of makeup, and maybe a jacket. Olivia has a very unique and pretty style and her character doesn't have any limitations. So she will wear what she wants. Lastly, for Noah and Ethan as my robbers they will wear all black clothes. We will go shopping to find some clothes. They will wear balck jeans, a black shirt, a black jacket, and a black ski mask. This to fully get the sense that they are robbers.
