Blog #28 - Bedtime scene

I was thinking about how my PTSD and anxiety can be shown more in my film. For this I thought to add in a scene where Colia is trying to sleep but can't. This ties in because typiclly PTSD and anxiety is followed by sleeping problems. This event has that effect on Colia as she finds herself unable to fall asleep.

The scene invloves Colia tossing and turning and then getting anxious. She starts by sleeping on her right side. The scenes is darker to represent that its later in the day. Also showing that its time for Colia to try and get some rest. Colia has her phone and keychain on the bed as she trys to sleep. This along with her fluffy grey blanket. This all setting the scene of Colia going to bed. She then flips over to her left side. She begins getting frustrated as she cant sleep. She trys sitting up to relax herself. However, this just leads to a anxiety attack.

Colia begins to hold her head to make her feel safe. She starts breathing to calm down. This just leads to heavier and heavier breathing. She starts breathing intensely. For the sleeping shots I stood on my bed, hovering over Briana to get an overhead shot of her. Showing that she laying down. This scene also involves a few up-close shots. It adds dialouge as well. That being Colia heavy breathing to indicate her attack.
